We have been fans of Britax since meeting a member of their team, Kate, in LA. Combine their friendliness with their safety record and you begin to quickly lean towards the brand.
We needed a car seat that met the following criteria:
- Safety first!!
- Light weight.
- Easy to carry.
- Soft, not scratchy, fabric.
Our last baby was born six years ago and after much research and debate, we chose to go back to Britax with our newest addition due this Fall. Our previous Britax Chaperone was heavy to carry, but we wanted the safety features and, of course, the Cowmooflauge design. We were willing to go with any brand so long as they met our criteria. Britax won.
This time around we went with the Britax B-Safe 35 Infant Car Seat
version.
We had gone to a local store to check out the new design, check the weight and get a general idea of what had been happening during our time away from baby products. We were happy to find out that there were many positive changes, including:
- Lighter weight
- Amazing new fabric on the inside.
- Visor that attaches to the back so it doesn’t flip forward
Of course, there’s also a stroller specifically made for the Britax B-Safe 35, which we also grabbed.
